PARALLEL SHIRT

Part of the Backstage:33 project, this reimagined shirt transforms embroidery into a sculptural element applied directly onto the fabric surface. Two abstract portraits constructed from thousands of stitches and loose threads create a strong contrast between technical precision and organic expression.

The artwork is positioned asymmetrically across the front panel and interacts with the shirt’s central placket featuring custom metal buttons. The hanging threads extend the composition beyond the embroidery itself, adding movement and depth to every piece.

Each garment is handmade in the atelier, making every piece slightly different and unique.
